Itโ€™s been a little over a year now since my motorcycle accident. It took me a while to post this because Iโ€™ve really had to deal with all the pain during this recovery. The healing pains, the growing pains. I never knew something I loved would change my life forever. Itโ€™s funny how life goes. One day youโ€™re living life, the next youโ€™re thinking about all the things you shouldโ€™ve been grateful for. Having a second chance at life made me realize that life is to be cherished. Had plenty nights of suffering and letting go of pain through tears. You donโ€™t know what true pain is until you nearly lose it all. I faced 6 surgeries in 9 months. I broke both arms, completely destroyed my right knee, broke 7 ribs, fractured a scapula, and had a collapsed lung but still God spared my life. Its questions I still donโ€™t have answers to likeโ€ฆWhy God had mercy on me? Why did that lady have to hit me and another rider? Was she distracted? How do I help others through what Iโ€™ve endured? Why did I deserve this? Having to battle identity as a man whoโ€™s forced to put pride aside is tough. I had to let others help because I was completely helpless. I was mentally and physically broken but through adversity I prevail & I wouldnโ€™t change what happened! Thank God I had people in my corner who lifted me up at my lowest. I thank God for my Wife who fought with me, it wasnโ€™t just my fight she made it hers too. She took it on the chin and didnโ€™t fold when the thick got thin, to say the least shes RARE RARE and I owe her my ALL! To all my family who sacrificed their time to come be by my side at the hospital and at rehab I LOVE YALL! Each individual knows how they contributed and I want yโ€™all to know I honor, appreciate and will never take it lightly how yโ€™all showed up for me! I know I was a lot to deal with but that was because I was under so much stress but regardless yโ€™all stud 10 toes down for me. To those of you who supported me financially, who sent up a prayer for me, who came to visit me, who called, who brought me food, who sent giftsโ€ฆ.IM IN DEBT TO YOU, LOVE YALL! #fyp #reel #viral #motorcycle #accident taken in Phoenix, Arizona by @_cheflavish
