maybe today i will turn the attention away from myself. instead of celebrating my confusing life and my double-minded heart, i will celebrate my Creator. it was He who gazed his eye into the future, called me by my name, and breathed His breath into my lungs. it was He who looked into eternity past and knew He would need to die for my future. it was He who knew my present, that i would struggle to enjoy life in spite of all of the earthly and spiritual blessings He pours on me, and yet continue to shine His face upon me.
