What a beautiful airport @hiaqatar is!
Seriously sad the stop was so short, but if you ever go to SEA from Europe, definitely book @qatarairways - and if it’s just to make some pretty pictures at the Orchard. by @_chrisalbrecht

Summer Storms in Bangkok aren’t messing around. Turns out if the TMD is warning of severe weather, you should take it seriously.

Those storms like to form especially around cities such as Bangkok. The concrete walls and streets store an immense load of heat during the day and as the sun gets lower, this energy gets discharged. If there is a pocket of cold air higher up, such as right now from China, the drop in temperature forced the hot air from below to rapidly ascent, taking massive amounts of water into the upper atmosphere which is forming those beautiful fluffy clouds that we associate with thunderstorms. Because it’s cold and the water starts freezings, it’s rubbing against each other and well: this happens. by @_chrisalbrecht

Back in town and @kingpowermahanakhon is looking more beautiful than ever. by @_chrisalbrecht

She picked up a camera in 2019 and despite not getting better, she didn’t put it down anytime we go places together.

My mum is 65, doesn’t fully understand the technology, but she hasn’t stopped trying and honestly, that means everything to me.

This photo? She took it in Tenerife. And this is the first time I’ve ever had one of her shots printed.
Mum, I’m proud of you. 🖤 by @_chrisalbrecht

One Piece One Piece in Bangkok…🏴‍☠️
Honestly, I couldn’t be more thankful to @netflixth and @tourismthailand for bringing this to Lumphini Park. As a lifelong One Piece fan, seeing the love put into @onepiecenetflix is amazing. Seeing a part of this world recreated so beautifully here in Bangkok is touching—and judging by the queues at 7 AM, I’m definitely not the only one who feels this way! 🌊
Huge thanks to everyone involved. 🙏

One Piece

Standing above the clouds ☁️
Did you know that this is the highest point in all of Spain? This is Mount Teide in Tenerife. It is 3,715 meters high. Technically Spain, but only politically. The island itself is in front of Africa - and in my opinion one of the most spectacular places in the world.

Those white clouds below the mountain are called „Mar de Nubes.“ They happen because of the special winds (Trade Winds) that push the clouds against the mountains and because of them and the clean air, this is one of the best places on earth to see the stars. ❤️ by @_chrisalbrecht

When I grow up…
But why should you, really? What was wrong with being a kid? Don’t lose that sense of wonder. Stay true to yourself and just be happy. 🌺

If you haven’t been to Frankfurt Central Station: don’t. 😂 It’s the only place on Earth where ‚getting some fresh air‘ qualifies as a biological hazard. In 1925, King Rama VI had the visionary grace to donate 54 hectares of prime land so the people of Bangkok could actually breathe. 100 years later, I’m profoundly grateful. by @_chrisalbrecht

Honestly I thought @aether_bkk is just a bright helipad. 🤣 Guess I have to check it out!

Nope, you are not crazy. The sky over Bangkok looked different today. 😂

It’s called Royal Rainmaking. Thailand uses cloud seeding to battle pollution and drought. Civil engineering at its peak! 🇹🇭

In case you didn’t know: yes, in Germany we do have rules for how big stairs should be and Thailand breaks all of them. 😂

Bangkok-Henge in real life.
Sunset timelapse through the Sathorn skyline — the city turns into a light tunnel. Would you call this a sunset… or a glitch?
