Crossed over 3000km for the year this week. Wednesday session of 3x2km @ 3:19 felt controlled. Saturday solo 5k in Tiergarten sneaking under 17 minutes. 2 weeks until race day chasing sub 34. taken in Berlin, Germany by @_chrissant

Happy to have the volume back up to normal after last weeks heatwave deload. Wednesday session of 5x1km @ 3:10 felt like a real breakthrough but blew up in the Saturday 5k. Room to improve. Only 4 weeks to race day chasing sub 34

Gifted at the Paris showroom a couple weeks ago. Unreleased lavender colorway with minimal branding. LightSpray™ filament over a cream CloudTec® midsole. Eight total components. No laces, no glue. A single 1.5km filament sprayed directly onto the midsole in under three minutes.

8 week block building into @theberlin10k for a pb of 34:58. Was initially aiming for sub 34 but adjusted to sub 35 due to the heat. Seems like the right move since my average heart rate was 195 and creeped in the 200s for the last 3km.

W1: 101km · all easy
W2: 107km · 6x800 @ 3:18, 4km @ 3:22, 1.6km @ 3:25
W3: 112km · 7x800 @ 3:19, 5km @ 3:24
W4: 121km · 8x800 @ 3:15, 5km @ 3:22
W5: 122km · 6x1000 @ 3:13, 3x3km @ 3:32
W6: 120km · 6x1km @ 3:18
W7: 114km · 3x2km @ 3:23, 1.6km @ 3:10
W8: 101km · 4x1km @ 3:17, 10km race @ 3:29

898km total volume. 65km of quality/race pace, averaging 3:20/km. Roughly 7% of total volume at quality. Probably low if I want to max out the 10k, but the goal is a faster marathon in the fall so I’m trying to keep volume high without overcooking the sessions. Any real coaches out there chime in.
