The odds of me living here were actually 0,1%. I was born and raised in Athens, Greece. Somehow I was obsessed with usa YouTube vlogs since I was 12. I would be exposed to American language and culture every day through my phone. I studied English Language and Literature in university just because a friend said they don’t put a lot of homework at that department. Studying in English made me even better at it. As the years went by I always knew I would leave Greece but I never thought that God would take me to the place of my most craziest dreams. The city that’s in every movie, every show, every ad. The unreachable and expensive destination. Being here gives me perspective that nothing in my life happened randomly. Nothing is an accident. Everything is supposed to take you where you’re supposed to be. Even in seasons of doubt and confusion, you can look back on your life and see that certain things had to happen, so that you get in the place you are now. Trusting the process takes faith and not knowing sucks but it’s all worth it in the end. ❤️
