I have never written in cement, although I have seen fresh cement and no one was looking, I could have….

I just wouldn’t feel right about it. This is at the laundromat I go to.

Every time I see it, no matter what mood I’m in….. It fucking slaps….Good mood? Fuck you. Bad mood. Fuck you.

The person could have written their name, or initials… but no. They were thoughtful and wrote something we all could enjoy.

I turned 44, my birthday falls at the end of summer. I guess that means summer is over? I like who I’m becoming. I haven’t drank for 2444 days, it’s pretty badass if you ask me.🍾

I never would have thought I would stop drinking, I never had a rock bottom or anything. But when I quit my 9-5 job at 35 and became an entrepreneur it just became clear to me that I couldn’t drink and have a business where I could get a call at any time with some random fire that needed to be handled.

I’m weird, I’m an artist, I’m an instant photographer… I’m a lot of things. When I turned 40 I deleted my Instagram and started this one. I didn’t tell anyone, not even my friends or family. But somehow everyone slowly found me.

I like just being a random stranger on the ol’ internet. Friends and family are not the people that support you, random strangers are. Life is weird like that.

This account felt cute, might delete later… Jk. 👀

The only moment you ever have is right in front of you. What are you doing with it? Maybe a little less scrolling and more creating art?

Maybe less scrolling and more connecting with the people you love and care about? One day they won’t be here, just memories and photos and looking back.

I just had a birthday and this time around the sun I want to connect differently. More letters, more Polaroids more real connections with real people.

We’re all so connected and plugged in, but are we really connected? A like on a post isn’t a real connection. 800 followers are not real connections.

I want to really know people. Weird people, artists, instant film photographers. People that like to have fun, wear sparkles…… because if you aren’t living now, you’re already ded.

We’re all gonna be gone someday, stop worrying what people think or how you come across. It doesn’t matter, none of it. So why not have fun?!

The earths shadow cast over the moons glow. It was hot, I did laundry, ate a half a pint of ice cream. Contemplated the beauty of the moon, watched it, it watched me.

It didn’t judge me for eating the ice cream, because it knows how hot it was. No one wants to do laundry in 80 degree weather….

But it’s in the small moments that are strung together that make up our lives. Hot laundry, ice cream, eclipse. Some epic and sweet things mixed in with the mundane.

Life is weird like that. I don’t mind, that’s what makes it interesting. I’d rather watch the moon anyways. I always learn something new.

Stop worrying about the small potatoes, the small tomatoes, the little things people do or say. Remember, when people act ugly it’s always more a reflection of them, not you.

You are beautiful, creative, and have the power to change your life at any moment. Isn’t that freeeing to know?

Make sure you are being kind to yourself.
