Damn! Such a huge day launching @currentbyfayd with my brother.

Seeing so many friends, fellow creatives and even people just walking by come through the new space was such a cool feeling. Feeling so stoked about what this space could become for Vancouver, and seeing other people get excited about its potential, made it all feel that much more real.

So thankful to @tysongibsondesign for coming through to showcase his beautiful work and help make this soft launch special. Thankful for @chris_corbett_photo for being our photographer and flicking us up. Thankful to @tinytwins.inc for providing free drink tickets to hand out during the launch. Thankful for my best friends @besartcokli @aidangollub @mgdilla for coming out and spending the entire day (10 hours) with us at the shop. Thankful for my brother @liamfay for bringing this idea to life with me, believing in the vision and everything he does to make it happen. And lastly, my mum @tamaraleighfay for picking up pizza to keep us fed, grabbing a desk off fb marketplace first thing in the morning while I was stressing about getting everything set up, and bringing Moose 🐾 by to visit and make sure we were all good. The little things never go unnoticed.

This is just the beginning. I hope Current becomes a space that gets other creatives excited to bring their ideas to life, connect with one another and build a community around a place they can call home.

If you read this far, love you. ❤️ by @_ciaran_

Business venture round 2 🤝 @currentbyfayd
Launching soon with the bro @liamfay

We’ve had this idea sitting with us for a while, and we’re finally so excited to bring the vision to life. Current by fayd is a space for Vancouver creatives to call home. A recurring place to connect with customers, build community, and bring their ideas to life.

The goal is simple: highlight the amazing people we have in this city and give them a blank canvas to create their own retail experience, their own way.

We’re stoked to bring this to Vancouver and help grow the creative community. If you’re interested in popping up, have questions, or just want to learn more, shoot me, Liam, or @currentbyfayd a DM.

Website + more info coming soon.
Bookings starting mid-October.

A pretty big step for us.

What started as an idea is now turning into a real space to build, create, and bring our clothes on a reoccurring basis.

We’ll be popping up at @currentbyfayd every Tuesday, while opening the space up to other Vancouver creatives, brands, artists and small businesses throughout the rest of the week.

We wanted to create a place that feels like your own retail store, somewhere to test ideas, launch something new, connect with people and build community. That’s what it’s all about.

This is just the beginning. CURRENT by fayd, for the next wave of Vancouver creatives.
