When I went to the 9/11 museum, it was the first time in my life I ever felt truly “proud to be an American.” The museum does an incredible job of capturing the unity of the American people that followed the tragic events that occurred that day. Today in America we unfortunately are anything but United.

I implore you to consider the privilege it is to share our beliefs and the freedom we have to disagree with one another. Where other countries don’t have a voice, we have many, and it has resulted in something contrary to what we are suppose to be. United.

In remembrance of today and all its tragedy I also choose to highlight the unity that followed. We have the ability to unite in these dark and perilous times but it takes conversation, it takes humility, and takes loving one another.

I pray that we be a united body, not by a mission of politics but united by the conviction of the Holy Spirit.

Shortly before Covid, I had an encounter with the Lord. He showed me just how dark and lost this world truly is. He removed the scales from my eyes and I realized that the world I created in my mind was not real but rather a distraction that kept me from truly being free.

Whether you are burdened or afraid of the tragedies of the world, I want to let you know that we have hope. Jesus Christ. No one can save the world but Jesus. There is comfort in Him, peace, and freedom. He is the answer to the world.

HE REIGNS AND HE RISES. Good Friday explained to 4-5 year olds ⬇️

(Page 1) A long, long time ago, there was a man named Jesus. He was kind, gentle, and full of love.

(Page 2) Jesus helped people who were hurt. He gave food to people who were hungry. He told everyone how much God loves them.

(Page 3) Some people didn’t like what Jesus said. They didn’t understand Him, and they got very angry.

(Page 4) One night, Jesus had dinner with His friends. He gave them bread and said, “Remember me. I love you so much.”

(Page 5) Later, some soldiers came and took Jesus away. Even though Jesus didn’t do anything wrong, they were not kind to Him.

(Page 6) Jesus was put on a big wooden cross. It was very, very hard for Him. But Jesus still chose love.

(Page 7) He looked at the people and said, “Father, forgive them.” Jesus loved them—even when they were unkind.

(Page 8) The sky turned dark. It was a very sad day. Jesus died on the cross.

(Page 9) Jesus’ friends were so sad. They wrapped His body gently and laid Him in a quiet tomb.

(Page 10) But the story isn’t over! Something wonderful is coming soon…

Mario and I decided to share this next chapter of life with our imitate families and it couldn’t have been more perfect!

Thank you to our families for literally being the best, this would’ve been a complete disaster without you guys special thank you to @______secret______ a visionary, thank you @lizamami for making making me look like a bride that makeup didn’t go anywhere! Thank you @sal_dos.santos & @natasha_dos.santos for capturing our day in such a creative way, thank you to @jennlopezx & Sam for the beautiful worship!

To the One that calls me His bride
Rev 21:9-11

my Savior, my love, Jesus,

I’ve seen Your hand in my life too much that living life without You isn’t even a possibility. You’ve brought me out of too much that I can’t ignore You. Lord you’re my most reoccurring thought. I think about You all the time and I still don’t think that’s enough because I want You more. I want to know when I upset You or hurt You because the reality is You’re my first love. My definition of love is You. I love you like a needy girl friend that always wants your attention, like a little girl that wants her dad. In every relationship You’ve shown me who You are. You cared when I didn’t, You loved me when I couldn’t. I want to be Your bride forever, no matter where You take me in life, You will always be my first Love. The One that understood me, patiently waited for me, and loved me despite my wrong doing. I live to be Your bride, I live to show others it’s beauty, not to be a guest but to be Your bride.
