“Life Giver, Joy Giver”

My first full acrylic portrait of a family member on canvas.
Painted from a photograph capturing my mother in a moment of genuine joy—one I wanted to preserve in paint.
There’s something special about painting the woman who gave me life, in a moment so full of joy.
And perhaps even more special is that “Joy” is a part of the name she gave me. 🤍
I love you Mama❤️

✨Process is progress✨

A piece does not materialize into perfection. It starts or rough and awkward looking but through persistence the vision starts to come through.

And if it doesn’t come out great this time there’s always next time to try again. Just keep at it🫶🏾 by @_cj.arts
