365 days, one whole year, I can’t even believe it. God am I ever so grateful. To think a year ago I wanted to end my life because of the constant cycle of chaos that I was in, getting sober has been the absolute best thing I could have ever done for myself. I feel so free and full of joy. The love, support, knowledge, and guidance I’ve received in the last year has changed my life in so many ways. Ways so much deeper than the physical, this year internally I have and still am healing parts of myself I couldn’t have even imagined possible a year ago. This life is so beautiful and I never want to go back to the way I felt before, as I reflect I am beyond happy to see what has came and what is to come for my future. Every day is different, and obstacles will arise but I can and will overcome them step by step. I am focused, and I’ve never felt the hope before that I now have within myself. I have a beautiful amazing family, the best friends, a great job with amazing people I’ve built beautiful bonds with, a huge support system from my program, and so so so much more. Words cannot express how much their love and support have kept me strong this year especially the hard times. Healing is the furthest thing from easy, but damn is it so beyond worth it!! So many new opportunities coming my way this year, there is no limit to what I can do and now I know that. Not only do I know that, I finally feel it! 🙏🏼❤️ Heres to the last 365 days of my journey and growth, excited to see what the next year brings my way.
