På torsdag 21 maj öppnar min lilla utställning Andra andningen i @gallerimagnuskarlsson s inre rum. Kom dit, 17-19. Den stora utställningen är @bellarune
Fantastiska fotografen Linda Westin @_cometalktome_ följde mig en dag i screenverkstaden på @kkvsthlm som en del i ett projekt hon arbetar med. Här är några av alla moment inblandade i tryck-arbetet. Just det tekniska och ibland slumpartade i tryck-processen gillar jag, det ger en viss energi åt verken

I like the technical and sometimes random nature of the printing process, it gives a certain energy to the works by @_cometalktome_

#AsSeenInPrint | Stockholm-based Linda Westin (@_cometalktome_) left photography to pursue a PhD in neuroscience, specialising in super-resolution fluorescence microscopy – a group of imaging techniques that allows scientists to illuminate the structures inside cells by making them glow under specific wavelengths of light.

When returning to the medium, she began to apply what she had learned, and started to look at forests, rocks, plants and stars with a newfound sensitivity. Now, Westin brings methods from neuroscience into artworks. These pictures present forest canopies as if they were neuronal dendrites, the branching extensions of nerve cells that receive signals.

When returning to the medium, she began to apply what she had learned, and started to look at forests, rocks, plants and stars with a newfound sensitivity. The results depict layered boughs that open like portals into other worlds, where skies glow pink, purple and red.
