All around the nation people are gathering to pray. Here are a few pictures from LHS this morning & SGA yesterday morning. If you haven’t stopped to pray yet; pray for our nation, our schools, our students, our teachers, our families, & our salvation!

Great job, guys!

There are certain things in life that remind you of the goodness of God, for me it’s when I look at my wife. It’s evident that she is a precious gift that God has give to me. He has entrusted her to me to love, lead and protect her. She is the trophy I brag on. She is the accolade I think about the most. She is involved in the greatest memories of life so far. She is the one I long to see each day. & she is the one I dread to leave. She is above and beyond what I have ever wanted in a lifelong partner.

Everyone who knows her loves her. Full of diligence in her field of work. Full of love to the people closest to her. A listening ear to those struggling, mourning, and hurting. An encourager to those discouraged, upset, and afraid. She is virtuous. She is excellent.

I love you, Makayla Faith! You are my best friend & I thank God for you! by @_cooperkennedy

Officially had our first huddle this morning at Victory! God is good! by @_cooperkennedy

Recognized our first ever Athlete of The Week at Victory Baptist School! Yesterday, we recognized varsity football player, Brayden Jamison!

This is what Coach Key had to say about him:

Brayden Jamison demonstrated teamwork and excellence throughout last week’s practices and game. As a two-way player on both the offensive and defensive line, Brayden consistently gave maximum effort, showing grit in the trenches and a willingness to put the team’s success above his own recognition. He made many key blocks, multiple solo tackles, and a blocked punt. His attention to detail and physical presence helped set the tone for our offense while also anchoring our defense. Brayden’s selfless commitment and steady performance made a major impact in our win and reflects what it means to be a true teammate. by @_cooperkennedy

Walton County FCA recognizes athletes of the week who demonstrate one or more of FCA’s core values: integrity, service, teamwork, & excellence.

Today we recognized senior volleyball player, Ellie Woosnam from Scholars Guild Academy! This is what assistant coach Hannah Brooks had to say about her:

Ellie is our speaking captain on our varsity volleyball team. She shows leadership on and off the court. Ellie sets, spikes, blocks and serves - she does every job in the game. And in the game of volleyball, a lot of emotions are high. Ellie does a great job encouraging and lifting up her teammates in those stressful moments. Along with Sidney Minor, she helps coach the MS volleyball team and has coached younger club teams as well. She also plays flag football and played on the state championship team last year for both flag football and softball. She is a BETA club member and has won the Presidential Service Gold Medal Award for the last 2 years due to her heart for service at SGA and her community. She is the secretary of SLC this year and serves the students and teachers at SGA in many ways. Ellie, your coaches are so proud of you and thankful for all you do to lead and serve with integrity and excellence.

Great job, Ellie! by @_cooperkennedy
