Experimenting with reels for the first time. Cave man would have done a better edit than me at this moment.

In the month of January of this year, I visited Tanzania for an eight day adventure, hiking through the rain forests, high altitude desert, Alpine zone, and finally, the Arctic zone to stand on the Roof of Africa. This was also my first time venturing out solo to explore a different country.

Met a lot of amazing people during this adventure. We shared stories and ate a lot of high calorie carbohydrate based delicious meals, summit anxiety since we had to start at 11:30 PM from base camp at 15,200ft and literally climb 4000ft over 3 miles at "Pole pole" pace.

At 6:10 AM on January 22nd, 2025, we all stood upon the Roof of Africa and embraced the warmth of first light!

It was one of the best moments of my life.

Also, 1/7 of the seven Summit challenges were completed.

Whenever I am at a low point, I will always look back at this reel and remember Hellen Keller's wise words- "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all."

A night to be remembered.
Couple of my friends and I had been chasing #auroraborealis for more than four nights, with little to no hint of clear sky, then it happened. We drove 60 miles North East of #fairbanks to #chenahotsprings Thursday early morning around 1 AM. The auroral "dance" lasted for more than 2 hours. Later, around 3 AM, clouds rolled in and that was THE ONLY display for the entire week ( what are the odds!?)
(It almost seemed like the Entropy of the universe decreasing with time during those two hours)
Ecstatic, humbled to have gotten the chance to witness one of Planet Earth's finest shows.

I call it the 'Great Andean Adventure'

A few snapshots taken during the summit day, which is also the longest day of the expedition. There is something about the Andes mountains which makes you to go back to it quite often. Also, one of the hardest days on the mountain that I've ever encountered.

The Great Andean adventure.
This is arguably one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life.
But, we endure and now I get to enjoy the fruits of hard labor! this reel sums up my expedition. Its all about the journey and the wonderful people I met along with it.
Currently, my body is wrecked. Waiting to recover so that I can start another adventure

09.06.2025- My first 100-mile race, and I insane enough to take on Mogollon Monster 100. I have been working extremely hard to improve my fitness over the past couple of years, and this adventure was the ultimate test - signed up three and half weeks before the race.
It was one of the best decisions taken by me, and thanks to @tvail150 for planting this seed when we were causally running around Miramar lake 🤣
About the race - beautiful, brutal, cold, hot, steep climbs, ridiculous descents adding to a total of six climbs over 15,000ft of gain.
One of the best lessons in Ultras teaches you to appreciate the simple moments in life - magnificent sunrise, beautiful dark sky lit up by full moon, and the sweet taste of water after going through hours of thirst.
Huge thanks to @weiranxiong for pacing me from Mile 57 all the way to finish. You are freaking strong trail runner.
Also, congratulations, @jakefergason, for your second Mogollon buckle! It's insane that you guys came back! Haha
Dean Karnazes was right - "If you want change your life, run a marathon. IF YOU WANT TO TALK TO GOD, RUN AN ULTRA"
I have caught the 100mile bug. It's only the beginning of an exciting adventure!

It was an epic day adventure to the summit #mtlangley, one of the prominent peaks in the Sierras. Camped at #cottonwoodlakes trailhead at 10,000ft. We had an alpine start at 3:30 AM, running at high altitudes is a challenge due to dwindling O2 %. Overall, all 3 (@imrajeevm, Surendra, and I) made it to the summit and back.
Felt great being in the Sierras.
