from tiny ping pong balls to full rotisseries these baby chickens sure did grow! I had the opportunity to show at the Huston Rodeo this past thursday and was fortunate enough to make auction with my pullets! Today I attended the auction and meet some wonderful people who love the rodeo and poultry! Me and my auction buddy made $5,000 collectively! I'm so grateful to have this experience it feels amazing to have done so well. This was my 4th and final broiler project and I already miss my garage full of clucking birds. I loved those chickens so much. love you lots chickidies- your broiler mama taken in Houston Live Stock & Rodeo by @_courtney.shaffer

can't believe i just did my last katyisd broiler show ... it was a great success and I'm so great full to have gotten the top hand award for taylor and have placed 5th in the broiler show. I was so blessed to revive $1500 in the auction today! it's a bitter sweet end to a wonderful experience. I'll miss you my little chikidies -love your broiler mama taken in Gerald D Young Agricultural Science Center by @_courtney.shaffer
