Take downs are so important because that’s when we loose the most volume and length. Our hair is matted, dry and chances of breakage is at its peak. If your takedown is not carefully done all the length and volume gotten from the protective style is lost. Using a really good conditioner with great slip like this one from @umbertogiannini makes my knots melt away making the process 10x easier.

Wow, I can’t believe I’ve been looking at this all wrong! 🤭🤭

The past two years have been such a whirlwind, leaving me with barely any time to show my hair the love it deserves. It feels like I’ve been manipulating my hair more than ever and honestly, it started to weigh on me. I even found myself holding back from sharing my journey because I was stuck in a rut and struggling to appreciate the process of caring for my hair.
