Every year for my birthday I always seek to ask God for one thing, leading up to my birthday I felt so insecure not because I didn’t feel pretty but I just felt like I was going wherever the wind blew. Which wasn’t a bad thing but not necessarily good either. I felt the need to be more grounded. I thought and thought and my thoughts became prayers and while praying I just kept coming back to the love of God. I know God loves me like duh, that’s standard. But I couldn’t shake it off and I went into the word and just read all i could about the love of God, especially in 1st Corinthians. To cut the story short, I began to ask God to show me his tangible love, like yes in theory you show me love everyday, Jesus died, i have redemption; but I needed an extra dose…. to feel your tangible love. And my God doesn’t wear flip flop so he can never flop. This God ? When he loves you , HE LOVES YOU. He has done just that and more for me. His love over shadowed me and filled me to the over flow!! I’m so grateful because there is nothing better than the love of God. In this new age I’m experiencing nothing but the Agape Love of God fr. A love that is not based on any conditions. As you see me you see Gods love okay?
