Not your average scholar

I came with ambition, pressure, grace, and a dream that refused to stay small.

Somehow between the breakdowns, deadlines, long nights, hard conversations, growth spurts, and survival mode, I earned a degree and became someone I’m genuinely proud of. Not perfect, not finished, but evolved.

This accomplishment means more to me than grades or recognition ever could. It’s proof that I kept going. Proof that resilience can still look soft, fly, intelligent, and unapologetically authentic. Proof that you can walk through difficult seasons and still emerge elegant.

I’ve learned that being educated is more than what happens in a classroom. It’s how you carry yourself, how you think, how you love people, how you recover, and how you continue becoming despite everything trying to harden you.

So yes, the tassel was worth it.
And yes, I made academia look a little glamorous along the way.

Deeply grateful. Highly favored. And still just getting started. 🎓 by @_d3vonte
