Most people clean house before a party.
We demolished ours.

Two years ago, our rooftop was a checkered floor, a random restaurant, and a very good view doing most of the work.

We wanted to throw a proper house party up there, and naturally, instead of just fixing the lighting and booking sound, we decided to try building a pool.

On a roof.
That did not have a pool.
While the hotel was still running.

Some parties are worth building for.
Especially if it’s @jamesanjunadeep

Galle, again. Every time I come back this place gives me something I didn’t know I needed. This round was spice markets at noon, day drinking like our jobs depended on it (they might), a disco ball we had no business being under, Thor-grade lightning over the Indian Ocean, pretending to look busy in conference rooms, indigenous mezcals that have no right being that good, and running into old friends @dotsbayhouse and making new ones @ropewalksl who’ll probably never get rid of us now. Somewhere between building a hotel and losing track of which drink was “the last one,” Galle stopped being a project and started being a place I belong to. The boys came through. We've got wines, wine cocktails... and a few other drinks as well, just in case those happen to wet your beak!

Pro Tip for drinking at the Wineyard:
If it looks like white, it's probably water
If it's not white, it's probably rosé or white wine.
If it's blackish, then that's red wine.
