Hey by @_daniel.raymond

You love God.

But if you’re being honest… some weeks it doesn’t look like it.

You tell yourself you’re going to pray more.

Read your Bible more.

Be more intentional.

And then life happens.

You miss a day. Then another. And suddenly you’re wondering why you don’t feel as close to God as you used to.

But maybe the problem isn’t that you stopped loving God.

Maybe you’ve just been waiting to “feel” close to Him before you choose Him.

The truth is, consistency with God won’t always feel powerful.

Some days you’ll feel the fire.

Other days, choosing Him will simply look like opening your Bible when you don’t feel like it. Praying when you don’t have the words. Showing up when your emotions aren’t there.

And I’m learning this too:

Don’t wait until you feel close to God to spend time with Him.

Spend time with Him… and allow Him to draw you close again.

You don’t need a perfect streak.

You just need to keep coming back.

Save this for the day you don’t “feel” like choosing Him. 🤍 by @_daniel.raymond

Pit stop in Chicago

This year has been something…
From what seemed to be loss after loss, missed opportunity after missed opportunity, severed relationships, broken hearts and broken promises, feeling forgotten and so much more, Jesus has been faithful.

operating in Faith even in the midst of things seeming like they’re not going to work and things not being in your favor is rewarded by the father.

This question was placed in my spirit this year, “will you remain at his feet in the midst of destruction, in the midst of turmoil, and the mist of sadness?” and my answer is yes I will.

my answer is yes because I knew that my season would come, I knew that the old season was temporary, and I knew that he was pruning me.

I knew that there is a version of me that is becoming through the midst of everything and that was my focus.

God is not done yet.❤️ by @_daniel.raymond
