Okay last marathon post (I promise) but I wanted to share a very small snippet of marathon Sunday. Hopefully you can see how electric the crowd was because it’s truly what makes running the Chicago Marathon so incredible. I met the coolest people, got to see amazing displays of humanity, and challenged myself mentally and physically like I never have before. It truly was the most incredible experience… I am actually so sad it’s over. I may or may not be thinking about 2025 already 🥳🏅🏃‍♀️🤪 #chicagomarathon #mychicagomarathon by @_daniusry
I’m a marathoner!!! My heart is so full. Finishing the Chicago Marathon was both the most challenging and rewarding thing I’ve ever done!! Months of training led to this victory lap. I’m so grateful for the support near and far, with special mention to Neal, who walked, trained and cycled to see me 6 times along the course, Morgan & Colton for hosting us and coming to cheer, and my parents (who hate crowds) also came into the city. For the over 50+ messages leading up to and day of and everyone who followed along on the map, THANK YOU. My heart is so beyond full. I’m looking forward to figuring out my next challenge but for now, I’m resting and reflecting on completing my bucket list item of being a marathoner✔️ #chicagomarathon by @_daniusry
