Alocasia Wentii Corms

Just had the first leaves from a few of of the 4 Alocasia Wentii corms I harvested. Sadly the mother plant didn't quite make it after some pest issues 💔. Trying to acclimatise these to ambient as soon as possible so I can give them away to some friends. This particular species can get very large very quickly so have to be consciousof space 😓. Currently growing them in sphagnum moss which has been my preferred propagation method for a while now.

Alocasia Baginda "Dragon Scale"

This one was the first Alocasia I bought and one of my first tropical plants. This particular plant is an offshoot of the original which didn't quite make it. Growing it in a self-watering pot like a lot of my other Alocasia and Anthurium. Hoping it bounces back this year!

Anthurium Queen of Hearts 🖤

I always thought people were faking their pictures when I saw how dark this hybrid was, but theres no filter, no editing on this picture of mine. I purchased this from Growtropicals back when they had a deal on it and I actually got 2 plants in the pot! The other is far lighter in colour currently but I find it interesting how varied Anthurium can be from specimen to specimen. Can't wait to see how this one sizes up.

Anthurium Magnificum

Had this one for a while now, and even thought its one of the more "basic" Anthurium, it's still one of my favourites. Just had its first inflorescence so hoping to hybridise this with my Luxurians! Definitely one of the easier Anthurium from my experience too.

Philodendron Splendid! Crazy to think that all of this grew from a tiny cutting I got just over a year ago. Grown on a DIY moss pole made using old Pepsi bottles and wire mesh.

Recently extended the moss pole on this one, can't wait for the next leaf!
