From Love Squad to full-time Heartbreak — meet Maci and Darius 💔

Both were part of our premier program for high school and collegiate athletes looking to get hands-on experience in the running industry. Today, they’re both full-time members of the Heartbreak team.

@m___ryanne is our Creative Producer and a recent graduate of the University of South Dakota. During her time in Love Squad, she spent the fall 2025 semester helping shape the visual world of Heartbreak across everything we do. The queen of design.

@_dariusbrown_ was part of the very first Love Squad class while competing for DePaul University, where he was a four-time NCAA All-American. Now, he’s a professional athlete, representing Heartbreak on some of the biggest stages in the sport alongside the world’s best.

Love Squad is more than a program. It’s a place to build experience, find your people, and create your path in the running industry.

This is what it’s all about fr 💔

@_dariusbrown_’s final practice before heading to USATF Outdoor Championships reminded us that the impact goes far beyond the track.

After competing against the nation’s best to close out another season representing Heartbreak, it’s moments like these that matter just as much.

The next generation is always watching 🫶 by @_dariusbrown_
