Just me lately…💅🏼 8 months postpartum, and it’s been rough. Everyone around me really deserves a pat on the back and therapy. 👏👏 Having children 8 yrs apart, with none in between, is.. man I don’t even know how to properly describe it. 😮‍💨 I didn’t have postpartum with my first daughter👶🏻. I was overjoyed every moment, even up at 4 am, for the 3rd time that night. I find myself in tears now and overstimulated to the point of asking the baby the silliest questions like, “are you not tired?” She just smiles at me🥹 unaware I’m so sleep deprived I’m seeing things throughout the day. 🫩 Something I’ve learned is I have a brand new baby and I’m a brand new person‼️ The whole time I was pregnant I thought, it’s okay everything will be back to normal once I have her. I can have my life back, plus my sweet baby, but idk it’s hard to explain, my core is still there but I’m different. I’m embracing this new version of myself and obviously I’m going to out all of it on social media 😂 I know my journey will include a workout attempt, lots of fashion, thrifting finds, church festivities, and building the brand of a dark haired Barbie 🫶🏻 #postpartum #confessing #newmom #momlife #selfies #hearmeout #pregnancy #postpregnancy #momthoughts by @_darkhairedbarbie
