Definitely one of those moments where I look back and say to myself, “how did I get here?”. A few weeks ago I had the great honor of serving as the commencement speaker for @rosemontcollege (for their 100 yr anniversary) where I was also presented with an Honorary Doctorate Degree. I’m grateful to President Boyer and the College for trusting me with this responsibility (and @hodgsodg for putting up with me as I tried for two weeks to get Luisa to say “Doctor Daddy”…unsuccessfully). I hope my words and path provided some value to the Class of 2022 as they embark on the next phase of their journey. We’ve all been through so much over the last two years — writing and delivering this speech gave me a much needed chance to reflect on how much there is still to look forward to (and do!) — the journey’s never over until we’re gone. LFG - Luisa Flor aka Lulu aka Weezy. Love of our life. There are no words to describe the happiness this little girl brings.

Not pictured: Parenthood and the road to it can be hard AF. Sleepless nights, constant feeding, migraines, lots of tears. Preceded by multiple pregnancies, traumatic losses and countless hospital visits.

Grateful to everyone who has helped us get through the tough times and the village of family, friends and colleagues that has already surrounded Luisa with so much love.

Most importantly, grateful for @hodgsodg - my partner in crime, our rock and the best mother Luisa could ask for. Truly a Wonder Woman who has endured and overcome so much for our family. by @_davegould_22

Great day to celebrate the kickoff for the $1.8M #RebuildPHL project to renovate Heitzman Rec Center for the Harrowgate community. None of this funding would be possible without the #PhillyBevTax. #fbf to yesterday for the first #RebuildPHL groundbreaking. Because of this specific #RebuildPHL project, the schools and football teams in Oarkside and Overbrook will finally have home fields in their own community to practice and play on.
It’s such a privilege to work on a program that’s bringing much needed investment back into Philadelphia neighborhoods. There was a lot of hard work and dedication from a lot of different people to get us to this point. One down and a lot more to go! taken in Philly Pumptrack by @_davegould_22

Was gonna give myself a quick line up before church...wasn’t paying attention and took some off the top...had to chop it all the way down, and I missed church...still need that shape up...my barbers in NYC til tomorrow...Thank God I can laugh at myself and keep it moving taken in West Philly Baby by @_davegould_22
