The forecast for our wedding day called for heavy rain all evening. All day long, so many prayers were lifted up that the rain would stop for just thirty minutes. Just long enough for our ceremony.

And then, only moments before we were to walk down the aisle, the rain stopped. Not just for the ceremony, but for the entire cocktail hour, allowing every moment to unfold exactly as we had hoped.

Then, the very second everyone stepped inside for the reception, the rain poured down again. It was the most beautiful reminder of the Lord’s faithfulness and presence on the most important day of our lives.

Later that night, we decided to embrace the evening rain for our portraits, and it could not have been sweeter. Truly the most precious wedding gift from Heaven!
