Been lucky enough to have been driving for The Lumineers on the Adelaide leg of their The Automatic World Tour over the last couple of days. Great music but even better humans.

This morning one of the entourage generously gifted me this limited edition plectrum that incorporates the artwork on the cover of their latest album, and thanked me for looking after them.

Pretty grateful for the experiences and opportunities that I’m getting, and for the ones that are still coming my way in 2026 ❤️ by @_davidgilbert

The guy in the white shirt in this photo is Pasquale (Pat to his mates), next to him is Alex, Frank, and then me. Pat and his beautiful family came to my Hit That Hit Musical Bingo event at The Mile End Hotel on Saturday night, and he took out the win in the first round. While I was presenting him with his prize he sheepishly asked if I’d be interested in coming along to try lawn bowls at his bowling club. Now, as I found out tonight, Pat already has plenty of great mates; he wasn’t in need of another one. But it was such a genuine invitation from a truly kind and humble man that I took a chance and went along. Not only was I welcomed warmly by everyone, but I had SUCH a fun night (apparently I’m a natural 🤣) and found myself a whole new friendship group. Thanks Pat!

Just a little reminder that kindness is king, and that being brave and saying “Yes” to new experiences and opportunities can be life changing. So grateful 🥰 taken in Torrensville Bowling Club by @_davidgilbert
