Between the weight of weariness and the fine line of wanting to lay down and let life pass by, I stand.

I have walked through a lifetime of heavy terrain, bearing the silent scars of childhood trauma, carrying the burden through young adulthood, and facing deep pain as an adult. For years, I held everything inside until my body bore the physical toll, giving rise to what mankind says is incurable autoimmune diseases that has threatened my life time and time again.

I have known the depths of kidney fatigue and liver failure. I have known the cold reality of wheelchairs, walkers, and canes. I have watched my body change through weight shifts, hair loss, and the intensity of chemo.

Yet, through it all, I rise.

I am a warrior, forged in the fires of many battles, standing firmly on the battlefield our Heavenly Father custom-designed for me. He has never left my side, and He hasn't brought me this far to leave me now.

Now, as my 48th chapter waits just around the corner, I am called to face another mountain: brain tumor removal surgery. Yet, my heart remains steadfast. My faith is unshakable because I serve a God who holds absolute control over my life. If He delivered me yesterday, I know with every fiber of my being that He will deliver me today, tomorrow, and for all the days to come. Frustrated? Yes. Weary at times? Absolutely. Scared? NEVER. The God who fought for me in the valley is already standing in my future.

If I can leave you with one message, it is this: Listen to your body. Be your own fiercest advocate, especially when your voice feels drowned out by a mountain of other health struggles. Speak up when something feels wrong. Trust what your body is telling you. If I had not pushed, advocated for myself, and refused to back down, this tumor would have never been found, threatening to leave me permanently blind.

So I tell you now: PUSH. Push past the pain, push past the fear, and push through the doubt. Beyond the sharpest thorns lies a beauty and a strength you haven't yet seen.

I choose to stand. I choose to fight. I choose to LIVE. And I pray you do, too
