Nobody talks about this part of nursing school as an international student.
A lot of people assume nursing is a straightforward path: get into a program, graduate, take the NCLEX, and start working.
I thought so too.

Then life started life-ing 😭.

This is just a small part of my journey so far, from changing schools to navigating different nursing pathways and figuring things out as I go.

We often think growth is a solo journey.
We isolate ourselves, trying to figure everything out on our own, convinced that if we just think a little harder, pray a little longer, or work a little more, we’ll finally find the answers.

But maybe life was never meant to be lived that way.
Maybe that’s why God places people in our paths; people who encourage us, challenge us, pray for us, and sometimes see something in us long before we see it in ourselves.

Looking back, I can think of so many moments where someone else’s words carried me through a season I couldn’t carry myself through.
So if you’re waiting for a breakthrough, don’t overlook the people around you.

And maybe ask yourself:
Whose prayer am I supposed to be answering today?

P.S. The microphone wasn’t working. It was there to help me feel qualified to be giving life advice. 😂
