POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Thank you, Iowa City, for allowing us to take up space in one of the most loving and communal music scenes I could have ever hoped to be a part of. Thank you for opening your ears and your arms to us, and for showing up at every party, show, and event. Thank you for listening, and for giving me an outlet to explore and share my asexual experience through music and writing. I cannot overstate how much that has meant to me or how much of my personal growth I owe to this community.

More than anything, thank you, Dearborn. Jonah, Sanders, and Aaron, it has been one of the greatest joys of my life to write, perform, drink, and share these past two years with you. I love you all so much, and I will never take for granted the friendship and bond we built through making music together. You will always be the people I think of when someone mentions a band, or when I step onto a stage somewhere new with different people beside me.

As for the future, thank you for everything it has yet to bring. While this may be the end of Dearborn for now, I feel incredibly lucky to continue creating music and telling stories with Sanders in Minneapolis. I hope to make it back to Iowa City often, while also building new relationships with the wonderful community in the Twin Cities.

I love you, Iowa City. I love you, Dearborn. Thank you for everything.

Our first album, "practice how you play", is out EVERYWHERE! Forever indebted to this group of guys for all of the time, energy, and love we've spent together. I love them so much.

Special shoutout to @_alejandra.soleil for laying down vocals all throughout this project. The ONLY person that came to mind when seeking a beautiful addition to the album. I LOVE YOU, WE LOVE YOU, you know that! Listen closely for her!

Another shout out to @danmillerr and @thevaultrecordingia for letting us utilize your space when making this project. We had a chance to record a lot of drums and bass on tape all thanks to Dans patience and expertise! Also his band @maaazemusic rocks!

Lastly, a very special shoutout to @maxhimelhoch and @mmmendel_ for all your help getting this music out there. I am forever touched by your wanting and willingness to lend a helping hand. What you do for musicians everywhere is awe inspiring. Thank you!! by @_dear_born
