So here’s my very late graduation post😭 5 years ago I made the decision to attend the Illustrious Howard University, though it wasn’t my 1st, 2nd, or even 3rd choice in dream colleges, I feel it was where God wanted me to be and once stepping on campus I quickly realized why. Howard taught me so much about myself that I didn’t even realize I was missing. The 1 1/2 I actually spent on campus were some of the best times I ever had in my life. I met the most amazing people and gained the best friendships I could ask for. Being more than 1,000 miles away from my family, which is all I knew, made me grow up faster than I expected. It was DEFINITELY not for the weak💀. Luckily I had an amazing support system there to guide me with God at the forefront. Then Covid hit and I experienced one of the biggest lost of my life. When my grandma passed from cancer, I didn’t think I’d be able to continue with school. All I could focus on was the hurt my family was experiencing in a time where the world was also shut down. School was nowhere on my mind. However, after taking a semester off and with the strength from God and support from my family I was able to get back on track and finish strong! So, I finally did it! Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology with a minor in Psychology, with hopes of attending law school this next upcoming year! Working in social Justice has always been a dream of mine, one that my grandma supported and was excited for me to pursue. So, I feel like I owe it to both her and myself to accomplish that goal! Thanks to the Illustrious Howard University, the Mecca, the REAL HU❤️💙!! My forever home. The place where I found some of the best friends I could ask for, whilst also finding myself. I am FOREVER grateful! #hu23 And last but certainly NOT least, Thank God for getting me through it all😭😭 without him I literally would not be here! 📸: @lastbisonstanding by @_deasireeee

This day last year I shared my baby with the world, so it was only right I update yall a year later. We made it to one👏🏾👏🏾❤️!!!!! 2024 was so good to us. I learned so much about myself through this first year of motherhood. Lord knows it was hard. For a while me and Kyro probably cried together everyday but we got through it. Having a son exposes you to a love unknown… something I didn’t know I was missing. God gave me that. Kyro you’ve been everything and some to me. Mommy loves you❤️❤️ and I look forward to this lifetime of holidays with you my Christmas baby🎉🎁. Goodbye 2024, 2025 be extra good to us 😇🎉🎉‼️ by @_deasireeee
