This is the hardest statement I’ve ever had to write. Never in a million year that would I have thought that THE Iroquois High School would play major roll in developing me, in the last 4 years, to become the man I am today. Thank you to the security team who were my main source of development in my growth. Thank you to my students for allowing me to lead you into making the right decisions.

But with that being said, it is with a very heavy heart that I submit my resignation from my position.

This was not an easy decision for me to make. I truly love being a part of this school and working alongside such an incredible team. The students, staff, and the positive environment here have made this more than just a job—it has been a place I have been proud to serve and protect every day. I’ve been honored to receive your trust to run the track program which has been a dream come true. Thank you for your trust and believe in me to run a successful program.

Unfortunately, for the need to better provide for my family, I must make this difficult transition. I am deeply grateful for the support, trust, and opportunities I have received during my time here. I will do everything I can to ensure a smooth transition before my departure.

Thank you again for everything. I will always carry the memories and relationships I have built here. Raider Nation will always be apart of my heart.

Sincerely,
Coach Darius Walters by @_dee5ive__
