Today I’m choosing gratitude. Knowing there are parents who don’t get the chance to experience moments like this with their babies is eye-opening and a reminder not to take any milestone for granted. Six years ago, she came into my life and changed it in the most beautiful way 💕
And somehow… time has flown by faster than I ever imagined.

Watching her grow into her own person has been so special. She’s bold, creative, kind, and unapologetically herself, truly moving to the beat of her own drum, and I love that for her.

I am beyond proud of the little girl she’s becoming. She teaches me just as much as I teach her, and being her mom is my greatest gift.

Thank you to everyone who continues to pour into her, love on her, and make her feel so special. We truly appreciate every thoughtful gift and surprise 🤍

So many people have poured into us, and if I’m being honest… 2025 showed its whole ass 😅. But through every obstacle, every lesson, and every moment that tried to break us, we kept pushing.

As this year comes to a close, I’m incredibly grateful to be stepping into the next chapter with my family and as Mrs. Wideman 🤍.

I was never the girl who dreamed about a wedding or imagined what that day would look like. But what unfolded became the true highlight of my year and honestly, my life.

My father officiated my wedding. My stepfather walked me down the aisle. And in that moment, generations, families, and stories collided in the most beautiful way.

That day held so many firsts. It was the first time I had all of my sisters, from both sides, in one space together. The first time I ever got a picture with both my mother and my father together. And so much more that I can write chapters on.

Over a decade, I’ve put so much work into being the person who holds everyone together, staying connected, communicating when it’s uncomfortable, apologizing even when it’s hard, choosing understanding over ego, and making space for love to exist where it once felt complicated.

Every person who stepped inside that house received a personal letter on their seat, words that spoke to the obstacles we’ve faced, the love that carried us through, and how deeply appreciated each of them truly are. It was an opportunity for us to tell everyone in the room how much we loved them.

Yes, this wedding was about us but it was also about healing, unity, and new beginnings. It was a new chapter not just for us, but for everyone who walked through those doors.
