Congratulations to Senior Delvani Valdivia on earning Honorable Mention All-American honors and team MVP. 🇺🇸🥇

“Del” was pivotal in the success of our program. Controlling the ball at the face off X, creating offense and playing team defense. This season he broke the Lindenhurst Lacrosse record for faceoff wins with a career record of 787/1194, leaving him with a 66 percentage. He has also broken the ground ball record with 495 ground balls.

Good luck at Adelphi University and have a blast on the pursuit to become a National Champion!🇺🇸🥇#HCC by @_dellvaldivia_

Adelphi ‘30

I am extremely honor and blessed to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic journey at Adelphi University.

First I want to thank God for guiding me through life and blessing me with this opportunity. I also want to thank my mom because if it wasn’t for her I would not be where I am today. Thank you for always believing in me and pushing me to be a better man. I couldn’t have done this without her. Thank you to my family for always supporting me and sacrificing so much for me.

I would also like to thank Joe Scavone and Bobby Murgatroyd - for introducing the game to me when I was young and being the reason I fell in love with this sport . They have been incredible role models on and off the field.

Thank you to Coach Synder, Coach Jaron, Coach Larocco, Coach Mark Crumm and all my faceoff coaches- for their encouragement and help throughout my career.

Thank you to all my teammates from Lindenhurst and Legacy East . You guys mean the world to me and it’s been an honor to share the field with you guys.

Finally I would like to thank Coach Purdie, Coach Catalanotti, Coach Volpi , and the rest of the Adelphi lacrosse staff for providing me with the oppurtunity
