HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY, Dee

Thirty is such a beautiful milestone. Not just another birthday-a whole new chapter. I feel like 30 is meeting me at such a powerful point.

I’ve lived enough to know what matters, loved enough to know what’s precious, struggled enough to know my strength and grown enough to understand that I don’t have to have everything figured out to be exactly where I need to be.

So today, I celebrate ME!!

The woman who kept going.
The woman who carries so much and still finds a way to dream.
The woman who wants more for herself and isn’t afraid to start again.
The woman who loves deeply.
The woman who is building something of her own.
The woman who is becoming.

May this decade bring me ease where there used to be struggle, abundance where there used to be lack, clarity where there used to be confusion, and genuine happiness that doesn’t need to be explained.

May the things I’ve prayed for privately find me publicly.
May my business flourish beyond what I’ve imagined.
May my home remain filled with love.
May motherhood never make me forget the woman underneath it all.
May I have the courage to choose myself without guilt.
And may 30 introduce me to a version of Dee that makes me say-“Oh… THIS is who I was becoming all along.” 🥹❤️

Here’s to 30!!!softer, wiser, richer, happier, healthier, more confident, more intentional and completely unapologetic.

And No, I am not behind.

I’m right on time.

Happy 30th Birthday, sweet girl
May this be the decade where everything begins to makes sense and align for the greater good.

Hello Instafam,
This was supposed to be a birthday post and I tried so hard to post but I just couldn’t. So, if you are seeing this,it means I finally won the battle.
This is not a birthday post to say, this is more like “my return” post back to my Instagram feed.

It’s been over 3yrs and 9months since I last posted on here. Most part of the reason being personal and the rest being that; Instagram is a bit of a work. it has to be aesthetically pleasing, it has to be Instagram worthy, it has to be almost perfect, if not perfect before one can post and I’m really not that girl😂people who know me down to my WhatsApp, know I’m not that girl.

Moving on, I’m going to be authentic here and try a bit of the aesthetics too(if that would work), I’d basically just try to balance it out and we’d see how it goes. Until then, pls welcome me back 😂

My God is a shield 🛡
my God is a rock
My God is a man that keeps me on top.
On top of the hate
On top of the lies
On top of the devil who’s in disguise.
My God was chained
My God was bruised
but my heart he still pursues.
I’ve been broken
I’ve been lost
but I still take up my cross

While we keep deliberating or saying we are too young for this “Jesus thingy”, I hope we also bear in mind that we aren’t too young to die. .
.
No one is promised tomorrow. This life we are living is very fickle and it fizzles away in a matter of seconds. .
While we go about finding out our purposes or living them out, while we going about doing this thing called life, let’s all have eternity in mind.
.
So LORD, TEACH ME TO NUMBER MY DAYS THAT I MAY APPLY MY HEART TO WISDOM. Psalm 90:12

If you ever want to argue the bible, please don't argue with me😟 Just argue with your bible
.
.
2 Timothy 2:16
Avoid worthless, foolish talk that only leads to more godless behavior.
.
.
This picture right here just simply depicts my expression when some one wants to argue the bible with me.. Please don't!!! The days of me arguing the bible are long gone. I can't do that, not anymore😊
.
Have a wonderful Sunday
