"Stay with me until the end." - "Always." - "Always then."Happy 25th birthday to Final Fantasy X! 🌊🌌✨️ Hard to believe it has been so many years since FFX first broke our hearts. While the visuals, voice acting and music were groundbreaking back then, what truly makes FFX a masterpiece is its unforgettable, deeply emotional story. It’s a beautiful, tragic tale about love growing in the shadow of inevitable doom. Watching Tidus slowly realize the true weight of Yuna’s pilgrimage is a narrative slow-burn that few games have ever matched imo. FFX explored themes of grief, institutional faith, religion, sacrifice, and outgrowing the legacy of our parents. I could write so much more about this game!25 years later that quiet opening scene at the Zanarkand campfire hits just as hard and makes me tear up every time.
