4 years ago.. I planned to go to college to study criminal justice. I applied to all my top schools & didnt get accepted to any of them which made me feel a little discouraged until NSU came to the Philadelphia HBCU Fair & accepted me on spot! 💚 Moving 5 hours away from home being at a school with no one from home no family was hard but i managed to keep pushing everyday! During my college experience I have made friends , lost friends , started a business , failed classes , got covid twice , went into a depression , lost 30 pounds in 1 semester , wanted to drop out , cried so hard sometimes I couldnt even get out the bed ! Just all with in 4 years of college.. but one thing I will say is some people really didnt think I could do it & others really supported me throughout this whole journey! Now as of December 10, 2022 I am officially an alumna of the illustrious NORFOLK STATE UNIVERSITY with Honors & a Degree in Sociology ! 💚💛 Thank you for accepting me when no one else did! 🥹 I will forever love this school ! DESTINEE JASMINE IS OUT 🫶🏽 WE DID IT MOMMY! 🥹🥹 WE DID IT !! ❤️🎓 taken in Norfolk State University by @_destineejasmine
