🫶🏽 Just one of those simple park and walking nights, yet so needed but here’s one of the main highlights of our family time:

A man and his daughter were walking the trail, but they were headed in the opposite direction from us. My husband spoke, and then I spoke as I was dragging behind with our little one. The man stopped a few feet away from me, turned around, and said,

“Wow, I’m not used to people speaking.”
Something that small turned into 15/20 minutes of perspective on that topic, and then whatever else we were meant to do in that moment.

You never know who needs your hello, your smile, your testimony, your prayer, your hug, or your listening ear.

So, when family time is subject to change for the glory of God, choose to be okay with that.

Somebody needs you more than you know.
Lay your imperfections down before the Lord...even if it’s more than once.

We can no longer keep this blessing a secret. Last year, we experienced an ectopic pregnancy. Pregnancy loss has a way of making you hold your blessings a little closer and wait until your heart feels ready to share. But we're thankful for these little lives every day, no matter the timeline. 💛🙏🏽 #houstonexpanision

It's been a min.. I'm reminded in this moment, that God doesn't waste time.

Maybe that's just for me.

I may not understand every part of the timing while I'm living it, but I can trust that God is not careless with my time, tears, or story.

I've seen it for myself...Jesus cares and he collects every tear, every difficult time, every sacrifice, (you name it) and got your story in His hands.

What a weekend with Adam and Karissa King💙💛 thankful for their impactful marriage ministry and for our church that pours into our marriages!
