I close my eyes and hear the stream as it passes Moments lost to whims of time Held close by the embrace of aspens Wrought through with a sorrow I cannot define I breathe in the autumn air And lift my face to the sky All I hear are echoes of despair As I watch the seasons wither and die Do the oaks feel this distant pain? Can the pines offer me relief? Have the aspens wept with the rain? Does the forest know this untouchable grief? #forest #lake #alps #mountains #nature by @_discouraged_one
#me #myself #Norway #nature #metalhead by @_discouraged_one
When the heart is a grave filled with blood And the soul is a cold and haunted shall of lost hope When the voice of pride has been silenced And dignity's fires are but cinders . . .their grandeur shall remain untainted It is this grandeur that protects the spirit within From the plight of this broken world, from the wounds in her song I wish to die with my will and spirit intact The will that inspired me to write these words Seek not the fallen to unlock these wooden doors #forest #valley #river #autumncolors🍁 #trees_of_darkness_ #agalloch #hiking #hikingmetalpunks #atmosphericblackmetal #pagan #nature_perfection #naturelovers #naturephotography #landscape_photography #landscape_lovers #Alps #mountain #mountains #Italia #Italy #igersitalia #valtellina #larch #north #heathen #beautiful #panorama #woods #river #hiking #trekking #fall by @_discouraged_one
Colours burst in wild explosions; Fiery, flaming shades of fall All in accord with my pounding heart Behold the autumnweaver In bronze and yellow dying Unfold into dreams In hordes of a thousand and one The bleeding Unwearing their masks to the last notes of summer Their flutes and horns in nightly swarming Colours burst within Spare me those unending fires! Bestowed upon the flaming shades of fall #fall #autumn #November #atmosphere #decay by @_discouraged_one
Autumn witches standing barefoot in the sea. Singing songs that even brought the devil to his knees. We shall inherit the time... Like the thunder stands for comfort. With the dancer in our dreams. Autumn witches mesmerizing leaves to flee. Dancing dances that even gods and undreamt dreams would wish to see. We shall inherit the soil... Like the one who wants our songs to end. The one who perishes on moonlit fields. We are the daughters of the one with broken wings and horns.... And the winterking shall be the one who carries the burden of the thorns. #autumn #mountains #forest #alps #nature by @_discouraged_one

From the deepest valleys to the highest mountain peaks which the sun caress with care. Carpathia! All hail to thee! Thy beauty is beyond compare... When the soft white shrouds of morning dew lay down on the meadows green, Thy prais is due, but keep thy poetry for the night you haven't seen For when the sun doth set in Carpathia... And the worm that gnaws the grave, crawls hence forth from gulf and cave And when the moon doth rise in Carpathia... Then the creature leaves the lair and the ghost is on the stair (An old photo from vampire land itself to wish you ghost and ghoulettes a happy Halloween 🎃) #Romania #dracula #vampire #halloween #gloomy_side_views by @_discouraged_one

And the season of the fall begins Past the passingbell past willow's weeping A ripple forms on the brinks of time But the night becomes you And the secrets of the rain, they will stay the same And the time will come soon With the secrets of the rain and the storm again Coming closer every day forever autumn #fall #autumn #mountains #explore #wilderness by @_discouraged_one
Sweet fall, come and take me away from this pain Towards the dark womb of winter Beautiful fall, kill the light of summer And bless us with your shades Sweet fall, chase the sun away And lay down the veil of leaves Beautiful fall, come and take me away from this pain Towards the dark womb of November "To them you are the bringer of grief But you will lead me to hope Into the arms of winter frost Will you release me And silence those fears I wait for your arrival And soon it will be too cold for the tears" The great clouds, I welcome your shields My old friend, will you lay me back to rest I've been suffering so long without you Come and take me away from this pain #mountains #forest #fall #landscape #nature by @_discouraged_one
Into the orchard I walk peering way past the gate Wilted scenes for us who couldn't wait Drained by the coldest caress, stalking shadows ahead Halo of death, all I see is departure Mourner's lament, but it's me who's the martyr #autumn #tree #leaves #melancholy #fall by @_discouraged_one
