Don’t care😌 by @_diyareadsbooks

I am super happy & grateful for being able to set up my cute little corner that I have always wanted! 🥺💖✨

This place is my sanctuary,my heart & everything! Thanks to my dad for buying this for me (although it involved some manipulation & juju magic 😂)!

🌿✨ Hello, beautiful souls! ✨🌿

This little corner of the internet has been my sanctuary for almost a year now, and I realized… I’ve never properly introduced myself. So here I am, finally putting thoughts into words. 🕊️📖

Starting this Bookstagram was one of the best things I’ve done — it gave me a space to pour out my thoughts, share heartfelt reviews, and most importantly, connect with kindred spirits who love books just as much as I do. 🤍

Through every story I’ve read and every post I’ve shared, I’ve met some truly wonderful people — many of whom I now call friends. ✨ Thank you for being here and the conversations that feel like bookmarks in the story of this journey. 📚

So, without further ado…

Slide 1: That's me, I am Sandhya. I am from India 🇮🇳. I have completed my undergraduate degree and am working as a software developer in a company here in India. I live with my parents, I have a brother who lives in the Netherlands with his family now. Been there twice & it's absolutely the best and favorite place of mine in the world. I have a little niece who I love and adore so much! And that's it about me and my lil family! 🤍✨

Slide 2: This sums up my whole aesthetic, the things I do & love ❤

Slide 3: These are a few of the books that I loved and adored! 📚

Slide 4: My hobbies are reading (obviously, duh), painting (I have another account where I post all my arts - @mis.artphilic ) 🎨 & journaling ✍️

Slide 5: The countries I have been to over the years 🫶

Slide 6: A few of my favorites! 💫💗

I love connecting with each and all of you here. Feel free to hit me with a message to stay connected & introduce yourself to me, I'd love that! 🤍

QOTD: Where are you from? What's your favorite book all time? ✨

Books Haul from Amazon Great Indian Sale! 📚💌

I might have got pretty lot this year but I’m not complaining though😌

As someone who has always put people above herself, who found it difficult to say no even when things hurt me, and who would put everyone else’s feelings before her own, I had to learn these things the hard way. 🥹🤍

It took me a while to understand that choosing myself doesn’t make me selfish, saying no doesn’t make me a bad person, and setting boundaries doesn’t mean I love people any less. sometimes, choosing yourself means disappointing people, and that’s okay too. 🌷

I’m just so, so happy that I’m finally learning to put myself first, protect my peace, and do things that make ME happy without feeling guilty about it. It’s a work in progress, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come. 🫶🏻

So here are a few things I’ve learnt to do guilt-free, and honestly, I hope every single one of you learns to do them too. because we deserve to take up space in our own lives, choose ourselves without apologising, and live a life that feels good to US. 🎀✨

A little reminder that you can love people deeply and still choose yourself. BOTH can exist, and neither makes you a bad person. 💗

Room for rent by @noelleihliauthor 🏠

If you love a quick, creepy survival story with a tense atmosphere that makes you question EVERYTHING, then Room for Rent by Noelle W. Ihli is definitely for you!! 😭🫣

Nya just wants to survive her final semester of college and get out of her horrible rental house, but things take a sinister turn when someone starts stealing her food, messing with her belongings, and rattling her bedroom doorknob at night. And the worst part? She suspects it might be her own roommate. 🫠

THIS BOOK HAD ME FEELING SO UNEASY!! The atmosphere was creepy, the tension kept building, and the whole situation felt like a nightmare you couldn’t wake up from. I kept wondering what was actually happening and how far things could go. The thought of not feeling safe in your own place is terrifying enough, but this story takes it to a whole other level. 😭

It’s a quick, gripping read that keeps you on edge, and the survival aspect makes everything feel so much more intense.

CHEERS TO ME FOR COMPLETING THIS YEAR’S READING GOAL (35/35) 🥺❤️📚

You guys!!! I DID IT!!! 😭🫶🏻 I’m so so proud of myself for reaching my reading goal this year. Last year, I came SO close to completing it, and I remember how much I wanted to get there. And this year??? WE DID IT, BABYYYY!!! 🥹❤️

Not only did I complete my goal, but I’m already exceeding it, and that makes me so so happy! Reading has become such a special part of my life, and getting to celebrate little milestones like this means the world to me. 🥺💌

Here’s to all the fictional worlds I got lost in, the characters I fell in love with, the stories that broke my heart and put it back together, and all the books still waiting for me. 📚🎀

little me would be SO proud. and honestly, so am I. 🥹❤️‍🩹

Now excuse me while I go add more books to my TBR because apparently, 35 books were just the beginning. 🤭📚✨

🍂💌 If It Makes You Happy by @julieoliviaauthor 💌🍂

Reading this book felt like I was living inside a Hallmark movie, and honestly, what more could a girl ask for?! 🥹🤎 Set in the late 90s, with the small-town charm, fall vibes, and the softest romance, this was such a cozy little escape!

LET’S TALK ABOUT CLIFF, BECAUSE SIR??? 😭🫶🏻 I bet everyone who reads this book is going to wish for a partner like him. Smart, funny, compassionate, empathetic, AND HE BAKES YUMMY PASTRIES?!? HELLO??? WHAT MORE DO WE NEED?! Someone give this man a crown because the standards have officially been raised. 🤭💗

And Michelle! She’s uptight, bold, and quite the overthinker, but underneath all that is a woman with the purest heart and the most genuine intentions. She cares in her own way, and I absolutely loved seeing that side of her. The way these two complement each other so beautifully made my heart melt. 🥹I’ll admit, this book took me a while to finish, but that ending? IT MADE IT ALL WORTH IT. 💌 Sometimes, all you need is a little small-town romance, lovable characters, and a story that feels like a warm hug on a chilly autumn evening.

If you’re looking for a cozy, feel-good romance to curl up with this fall, PLEASE PICK THIS ONE UP! 🍂☕🤎
