retro space cowgirl diva or something like that 🙂‍↕️💖

been loving doing my own take on the american trad style recently yayay! :))

what i don’t love is when insta crunches the quality of the whole piece so badly that i need to add a bunch of random detail shots and hope for the best 🫠

i imagine this as a large framed print/poster since i fear there’s too much going on for it to be captured as a tiny insta post lol

i’ve been loving red and leopard print as a combo recently so i had to make some flash to match the vibe!

very different than my usual art posts but i’ve recently gotten really into sewing and upcycling clothes so here are some of my faves so far! :))

slides 1/2: i got some pants and turned them into jorts (and added chains and spikes) then used the rest of the scraps to make a new top! i added some vintage jewelry to bedazzle the top too! (the top is my favorite sewing project yet tbh!) 🩶

slides 3/4: i bought a bunch of sparkly scarves from fb marketplace and made one of them into a two piece top and skirt set! (lowkey this was so annoying to make but i love how it turned out and i’ll be wearing it to the club asap) 🙂‍↕️❤️‍🔥

slides 5/6: found a top with the coolest pattern and beading but it fit so poorly so i upcycled it to fit way better and have an asymmetrical shape :)

slides 7/8: i’m really into making bolero sleeve top shawl things (no idea what they’re actually called lmao) out of scarves! this is definitely my favorite one so far!

slides 9-12: more scarves turned into shawls! need to make more of these asap!

slides 13/14: upcycled hat for st paddy’s day added all the patches and bedazzled it with gems! 🍀

slides 15/16: another sleeve top made from scarves :)) by @_dumpsterfireart_
