I enjoy varying my meals and trying new things in the kitchen. As an athlete who eats mostly plant-based, I have to be more intentional about my protein goals. I always aim to consume about 30g of protein with each meal. I try to avoid or limit my intake of protein shakes, powders and bars due to added ingredients that are not for our health. You should definitely give this a try.

This makes about 3 servings with about 8g of protein per serving. Consume this meal with this a healthy protein of your choice and a protein-rich smoothie. That should give you a meal with at least 30g-40g of protein.

Ingredients:
-1 green plaintain (uncooked- You can cook the plaintain first if you want. It depends on preference). You can also make this with ripe plantains as well. I used the green because I was looking for something crunchy.

-1 can of low sodium cooked chickpeas
Seasonings( garlic powder, no msg all purpose seasoning, cayenne pepper, black pepper , tumeric)

**I said baking is healthier than frying, not bacon is healthy lol. IG got the caption wrong. Bacon is not allowed in my kitchen **
