Huge gratitude in my heart 🤍

I competed at the Open Masters Games 2026 in Abu Dhabi and secured 🥇in the 4x100m and 🥉 Bronze in the 200m.

One of the biggest lessons from this experience: show up, even when you’re not at your best.

I was far from peak form. After receiving the invitation email, I honestly wrestled with whether I should even compete. Between a lingering knee injury, not being able to train the way I wanted, balancing a full-time PhD program, and still working… it felt like everything was stacked against me.
But I showed up anyway.

And God carried me through. 🙏🏾 I’m beyond grateful for His strength when mine felt limited. Thank you Jesus!

Thank you to the organizers for hosting an incredible event, and to all the amazing athletes I had the privilege of meeting. Special shoutout to my teammates in the 4x1 — what a team, what a moment! I hope to see you all again soon 🙏🏾

This one means a little more because it wasn’t perfect. It was perseverance. 💛🇯🇲

To top it off, Dubai and Abu Dhabi are now ticked off my bucket list 🥺🙌🏾. I had a tremendous time and must say; to God be the Glory!

Praise God from whom all blessings flow 🙏🏾🇯🇲

It was an absolute honor to represent my country, Jamaica, at the North, Central American and Caribbean Masters Championships in Mexico City. Despite the devastation our island faced from the hurricane, we showed up strong and did Jamaica proud—bringing home 9 medals! 💪🏽💚💛🖤

I’m grateful to have contributed with two individual bronze medals in the M30 100m and High Jump. This competition was outside my regular track season, so to show up and deliver these performances was truly remarkable.

Balancing life as a full-time PhD student, university lecturer, content creator, and active member of the church isn’t easy—but with faith, discipline, and purpose, all things are possible. 🙌🏽

Big shoutout to teammates @jamaicamasterstf and to all the other incredible athletes who represented their nations with pride. Much respect and love to everyone I met and the amazing friendships formed along the way.

Also, massive respect to @dingnews for having me as an ambassador! 🇯🇲📱

Thanks to everyone who has used my code when sending top-ups to Jamaica! If you haven’t yet, be sure to try Ding and use code DMAX to get 50% off your first top-up. The link to download the app is on my bio. Support the company that supports me as a proud Jamaica Masters athlete! 🙏🏽🔥

It’s the official end of the season but the work continues for 2026 and beyond! Thanks to all my supporters, y’all know yourselves ❤️

Masters sports isn’t just about competition—it’s about community, self-development, health, and lifestyle. I pray to God that my story will be inspiration to someone to help him or her realize that now is the time to step out in faith and pursue your dream! 💯

What an incredible experience it was competing at the World Masters Games! I am looking forward to the next staging, Japan 2027! If you are 30 and older and you want to compete, feel free to reach out to me for more details so that you can start planning for it. Almost every sport you can think of is included.

To my fellow athletes who left the games feeling disappointed for not winning your desired medal, just remember that you are still writing your story and when the time is right, it will happen! Let’s keep training hard for a stronger comeback. None of us lost, we gained such an amazing experience and valuable friendships!

God continues to favor me. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to be an ambassador for Christ, my country 🇯🇲 & masters athletics. Whenever I share my accomplishments, it’s never to look good! I want to inspire YOU that you can still pursue your dreams too and that as believer, you do not have to compromise your faith in God during the process. Stay true to yourself and remain humble!

It is a long season. The games may be over, but the action continues.

My next set of races will be in Los Angeles, California on Friday June 11 over 100m and 200m. This invitational was not on the original schedule, but God gave me an opportunity!

One of the biggest revelations is realizing that the life or career you spent years building is one that that you may walk away from at some point.

Trust God with what’s next. Don’t be afraid to add another layer or start over all together.

I have wrapped up my 2026 track season! 🥇🥉

I didn’t compete as much this year but I am incredibly grateful to God for every opportunity He has given me. He opened doors for me to compete in the UK and the UAE! God is amazing, He took my plans and multiplied them in ways only He could. That’s what I call “God math.”

Now it is time to rest then prepare for what is next. 2027 is shaping up to be an exciting year, and I am already scheduled to compete across three continents. Stay tuned… the journey is just getting started. ✈️🌍🏃🏾‍♂️🙏🏾

My first year as a Math Ed PhD student is finally in the books, and all praises to God because I almost gave up so many times, but He helped me finish with a perfect 4.0 GPA. I am still debating if I should continue but that’s for another story😅

Now it’s time to shift gears a bit as I get ready to compete at @londonmastersinternational on the 31st of this month at the Woking Sportsbox Stadium. Friends in the UK, you come out and show your support!

As always, before any race, I have to spend a little time being a tourist for a bit lol. Great meeting you, bro @marcelo.pd1, after almost two decades of being virtual brothers.
