It's been a productive month with lots of scrap plastic coming into site for processing and being recycled rather than heading to Landfill or EFW facilities!

Not all plastics are bad, where would we be without the plastics in this picture during the COVID19 pandemic? 💉🤔

♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️

Through greenwashing, the general population tends to look at plastic as a problem, but have you done your own research? ❓

There's a lot of companies out there that will try to tell you that their new product is much more environmentally friendly than plastic - but is it? 🔍

Think about weight, cost to manufacture, recyclability. 📊

Do your own research & be mindful that some articles online are written by people looking to generate money from views or environmental groups looking to get your donation.🙌

Have a look around you, what plastics do you use everyday which could you not live without?🙋

Our staff on site inspecting material that has been collected and diverted away from landfill or being burned for energy.

This plastic material will eventually be sent to a processing facility where it can then be shredded, washed and compounded.

The material in the pictures are grades of LLDPE from agricultural film, PP Sacks from the food industry and LDPE film from commercial customers.

Another busy week for the UK team!

Did you know, the UK is the 2nd largest consumer of uPVC Windows in Europe?

There's a good reason too, this material is widely recycled. We can collect, recycle and send this material back in to the manufacturing process to create pipes, electrical cables along with many other applications.

If you have any full/part loads available, please get in touch with your offers. ✅
