POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🎬 FROM LAGOS TO THE UK 🇳🇬🇬🇧

A story that started here is travelling further.

Congratulations to Favour Efe Vincent on the selection of this powerful documentary for the All Africans Indie Film Festival (AAIFF) 2026, and its upcoming screening through our Brixton Film Festival UK partnership. 👏🏾🎬

This is more than a film. It is a necessary conversation about the hidden dangers young people face online, from child exploitation and harmful content to the devastating effects these experiences can have on mental health, confidence and everyday life.

Through dramatization, expert voices and survivor stories, the film gives a human face to an issue that is too often hidden behind a screen.

From Abuja, to Lagos, and now to the UK, this story continues its journey.

Congratulations once again, Favour Efe Vincent. We are proud to have this important work as part of AAIFF 2026 and excited to see it reach an even wider audience in the UK.

🎥 Some stories deserve to travel. This is one of them.

Gatefield Studio is the official production company.

Film Screening Alert!

We’re excited to present “Click, Bait, Repeat” at CAUSTIVAL, a film directed by @_efayy, exposing the growing scale of digital harm, centering the stories of young victims whose lives were profoundly altered by online predators. At its core, the film is a call for a safer internet where children can learn, connect, and explore without being exposed to risks that can have lasting consequences.

Here’s a glimpse into one of my favorite scenes from my new short film, Awake.

This is a story I’ve held close—about a young immigrant woman navigating a difficult relationship with her mother in Colombia.

A massive thank you to my incredibly special (and shy) roommate, @mari.burneo Not only was this her first time performing, but she delivered a performance that truly moved me. Gracias, amor.

To @deledoherty , the creative genius who lit this film so beautifully and brought the cinematography to life—thank you, I really couldn’t have done this without you.

And finally, to me—for writing, directing, producing, and editing this film with a zero budget and nothing but actual passion.

Awake is now live on YouTube. Link in bio—watch, share, and let me know what you think. by @_efayy

“If you can say something in two sentences, don’t say it in five.” Favour Vincent @_efayy , our Narrative Analyst tells us about the Book she has been reading from the Gatefield Library.

Smart Brevity by Jim VandeHei, Mike Allen and Roy Schwartz is a practical reminder that clear communication doesn’t necessarily mean saying more. It means making your message easier to understand, remember and act on.

Celebrating my one year anniversary with @gatefieldssa !

It feels just like yesterday when I applied for the fellowship with Gatefield, but the experience that has happened during that time makes the time make sense.

I recently got retained as a full-time analyst, contributing to visual storytelling with my role as a Creative Director. Happy to take on this new role with just as much rigour and enthusiasm!

As a wise woman(me) once said “What doesn’t kill you, makes you a Changemaker!” Here’s to making change happen!
