Soft Structure Mix 02 — Effektor We’re very excited to share the latest Soft Structure mix from @_effektor_ , a live electronic hardware duo (@xy_sid & @analogged_out ) exploring ambient, IDM and dub techno through psychedelic percussion, acid sounds and shifting atmospheric textures. This is Effektor’s first recording shared digitally, captured during a deep listening performance for Cathexis at sBase in May. This month on @area3000.radio, Triple Vision welcomes @_effektor_, the Naarm-based live hardware duo & key members of the Cathexis collective, with an exclusive live hardware session recorded for the series.  Bringing together @xy_sid & @analogged_out, the collaborative project explores the space between meditative immersion & ritualistic hypnosis, drawing on dub-soaked techno, psychedelic amphibian ambience, broken rhythms & low-slung percussive grooves. रमेश EP launch The रमेश (‘Ramesh’) EP is a tribute to culture, connection, and transcendence by prolific musician and founder of the ‘dub palace’ Tejavu. The record spans deep techno, IDM, and dub sensibilities, and is an introspective meditation on connection, exploration, and a tribute to north Indian cultural heritage. The stars have aligned in the launch of this record, as transcendental technologists Elsewhere in India will be joining us in the midst of their Australia tour to play a club set in support of the record, prior to their forthcoming headline show at ACMI. Effektor will be contributing a live set in support, having materialised as a fresh live act after time under another project. Finally, Kodachi, founder of HEXAGRAM and keystone of Nagoya’s underground scene will be rounding out the lineup with dark progressive selections from deep in Japan’s underground.
