Really stoked to share this release as I had been wanting to curate a compilation highlighting specific sounds of the outsider electronic music community of San Diego and Tijuana for a while now. So huge thanks to all the artists for participating and submitting such killer tracks. And s/o to the big homie @strmastering for handling most of the mastering on this - a true engineering visionary and devotee to his craft.

Thank you all who have been supporting the Phosphene project! More releases and shows to announce very soon. by @_egress__

Out today on UBN 💿

We, at Universal Broadcast affirm our 15 year commitment to the North America underground with this inaugural compilation of Pan-American hardware music.

Spread across 15 artists sourced from the West Coast & Heartland of the continent; UBN Vol. 1 bonds together a diverse array of perspectives; each distinct in their practice, united by the personal esotera of creation. Hard fought within a culture of few redeeming values or virtue for the outsider steeped in decay. We thank each of you for your commitment to the vision. This is a Universal Broadcast.

🧨FRIDAY AT LULO - PHAASER PRESENTS🧨KANYON, EGRESS, OlIVER DODD, JBL BOYZ

PHAASER - @phaaser.world, the Nashville-based techno label & party series helmed by Charlie Conway - @charlie_conway__ & Blaine Maison - @_blainemason (JBL Boyz), returns for another heavy-hitting edition.

🔊 Headlining- Kanyon (NYC) @13kanyon13

Kanyon has carved out a reputation in the underground US techno scene through raw hardware sets, consistent releases, and dynamic DJing. His latest work includes remixes from Huey Mnemonic and Regal86, with support from Akua, Ron Like Hell, and Ben Sims. Expect at least three records from Kanyon dropping throughout 2025—a name to watch in the coming year.

🔊 Direct Support: EGRESS (San Diego) - @_egress__

EGRESS is a hardware-based project drawing inspiration from Bunker Records, Sonic Groove, Sandwell District, and the gritty, distorted sounds of the 90s and early 2000s. Since 2017, EGRESS has been a force in the SoCal and Tijuana underground, performing in warehouses, galleries, DIY spaces, and renegade parties.

🔥 Also on decks:

Oliver Dodd - @_oliverdodd –

JBL Boyz – Phaaser’s founders closing the night with their signature driving energy.
