I’d always do a yearly dump at the end of the year and this year, I came to the not-so-shocking realisation that I did not have pictures of myself 🤭.

One thing I did this year though was to take a lot of elevator/ mirror selfies so sit back, relax and enjoy this carousel of some of my favourite elevator selfies of the year 😌.

Something I realized I also really did this year was to document. I intentionally documented how each month was for me at the end of the month - how I felt, where I was in different areas of my life and how the month was in general. One thing it showed me was just how good God has been.

I started this year in a somewhat low place and looking back at the entire year, all I can say is Jesu ṣeun; Ẹ ṣe pupo (Jesus, thank you; thank you very much). For the many times you took care of me, for ensuring the provision was present ahead of every need, for the multiple kairos encounters, for my family, for my amazing community, for every new relationship formed and the ones that ended, for career opportunities, for fulfilling Your Word in my life, for guiding and correcting me, for healing my heart and for loving me so delicately, thank you Lord.

In the end, I finished Imperial, Imperial didn’t finish me. And this is a testament that God is truly good. Like @aiifee says, “Sibe, Oluwadara.” Slightly over a week ago, I graduated from Imperial College surrounded by some of the absolute best people.

School has always been a breeze for me but this was one experience that made me even doubt myself. I’m deeply thankful for how things turned out and the gift of men.

My testimony:

2023 dump in February of 2024 🌝.
•
2023 was the hardest year of my life. It was also the year where I grew in God in ways I can’t explain. It was a year where I saw God’s hand in an entirely new light. In summary, as I told my friend last year, if I’m asked to describe 2023 in a few words, I’ll say it was MY SOLID YEAR.

In 2023, I also travelled A LOT; more than I have any year before. Was on 10 flights along with many train trips (probably almost 50). Visited 10 new cities too!

I tried to summarize the year in this carousel . If you see more than one picture in one of the carousel’s pictures, no vex, I’m managing the space; you can zoom in 😂.

This meeting. I have done a great disservice by not announcing this earlier but it’s not too late. Please and please, be there for the last session by 3:00pm today. You can come in the evening after Church. Come expectant.

Monday was my favourite lady’s birthday. It was my mum’s birthday. This woman has been more than enough to me. She has shown in so many ways (mostly through her intentionality) that you are never too busy to be there EVERY SINGLE TIME for the people you love. She’s probably the busiest person I know but she has NEVER missed anything; not even one visiting day in secondary school. I love this woman forever
.
Her birthday being this week has put me on an emotional high but something else has also put me on an emotional high (see the last 2 slides).

Our Apostle @pst_iren is in the UK 🥳🥳. Sunday was fire 🔥. And starting today, we’re going Deeper. This program spans from today to Sunday. If you’re in the UK, please make it a point of duty to be here. Your life will never remain the same for this decision.

December dump.

I’m starting to get a hang of this and like it too 🌝. In December, I danced so much, worked so hard and realized how much of a home-body I am 🙃. I spent half of December at home.

December was all I spoke into it and more. December was a hard yet amazing month. A good year is truly one where the Gospel prevails and this is not just a prophecy. December showed me that as long as I have God, I’m more than happy and content. Living for God gave me so much joy despite all the difficult moments. And as always, Oranmonisefayati came through EVERY SINGLE TIME. God can be trusted, guys. I can’t count how many times I sang Mercy Chinwo’s ‘Amazing God’ this month.

January is my month. It’s the beginning of true freedom in Christ. In the month of January, I grow roots deeper and bear fruits upward. In January, I experience exponential growth to make up for the years the locusts have eaten. I am prepared for all God has in store for me. I am fervent in my devotion and my life is an evidence of the One I live for.

2023 is my best year yet. 2023 is my solid year!
