My full Howl's Moving Castle drawing is done! ✨️👒This is more following the book canon, but I ended up adding in certain details from the movie (both are awesome and my indecisive heart refused to pick just one route, ok. So let's call it a mixed fanart ✌️)Additionally, this was done in A4- sorry for the odd cropping in places but I tried my best to show everything!.One part of the book that stuck with me the most, despite being a small not so important moment, is the flower shop that Sophie and Howl open together, using the flowers from that one magical flower garden where Howl caught Calcifer. And uhhhhh yeah, I got carried away adding in fun little details...😅But it's so nice to imagine that after all the chaos (especially from book Howl's drama queen energy) they have a cosy flower and magic shop at the end of the day. Sophie definitely deserves it. Also wanted to include her sisters and their partners too! Did I have to, no. Was I compelled to, yes. Because while the movie is one of my all time favourites...I miss the side characters and their little story arcs 🥲 It's tempting to read the book again!..This was more of an attempt at 'putting more effort' into something, so please let me know what you think? 🧡Or did you notice all the hidden details??.I've been wanting to draw more fanart for a long time but never felt like my style was good enough for that (the brain demands that it has to be perfect or I will be sad) But I'm trying my best with book fanarts for now and it's really fun and exciting 😊..🧡 by @_eleablue_

Small animation test I'm finally posting here ☆I'm mixing traditional painted backgrounds with digital animation, so this was a quick and messy experiment to see if the two worked together ☆ It's not supposed to be perfect so please excuse the mistakes! A lil' #artvsartist2025 for the end of the year 🌟2025 has been...well, it could of been kinder.My mental health and personal life took a lot of big hits (including having to say goodbye to our sweet cat Luna back in early December) so I needed to step back a lot to heal and reassess how I want to live life going forward. There weren't as many drawings or projects done as originally planned, but I'm still trying my best to keep going- that's good enough for now. .Also, thank you so much to the friends, new and old, online and in real life, who have been immensely kind and supportive despite the chaos going on.The me from ten years ago, the sad kid who was so lonely and too scared to leave the house, would never even imagine that she'd be meeting new friends or tabling at big conventions. Never actually thought I'd get this far in life to be honest, so thank you- with all my heart..Hoping everyone out there has a kind 2026, and a very Happy New Year ahead 💙(Here's to hoping I get more drawings done 🙏)..#artvsartist #smallillustrator #picturebookartist #illustration by @_eleablue_

Once again at MCM Birmingham this weekend! Back at MCM London this weekend (sorry for the late posting!) The first day is done but I'm looking forward to the rest of the weekend and meeting new people as well as seeing kind pals again 💙 .This will be my last London convention for a good while (as I really need to put more focus into book projects and making a new portfolio for agencies...and maybe finally applying to the masters course I've been meaning to do?) so I wanted to go a bit extra for this one. Mushroom Fairy (Fairies!) For the third @drawtober prompt! 🍄Decided to keep this much simpler and quicker again (it WORKED this time) and just wanted to focus more on drawing little characters, ha. .There's something about drawing with inks that's making me feel more happy about creating. I've been stuck convention prepping for the last month that it's just...been really nice to use real pens?? With digital art I get too in the mindset of 'it needs to be perfect' followed by a ridiculous amount of zooming in and rendering which probably doesn't even get seen by anyone else. Fixing mistakes is so easy and convenient.But with traditional, once the ink goes on the paper you have to live with the very permanent decisions or embrace any tiny mistakes and adapt your idea. There's something very human in that.Or maybe I'm just being daft again 😅.Anyways I hope you enjoy these three little mushroom fairies. I wanted them to be unique from each other and like they're having a quick gossip session before going off for the day's important fairy work!...❤️ by @_eleablue_

Toad Astrologer for the second prompt of @drawtober 🌟 Technically a little cheat as I drew this the day after the first one was done, but wow ink drawing really helped with relaxing last week and I missed it a lot..In all honesty I'm not too sure on what this little guy's story could be. Maybe they're a magical spellcaster that looks to the stars for guidance, or maybe just a silly fella that really likes the aesthetics?I found the prompt kind of tricky to come up with a unique idea, so in the end I went for something simple and easy. It's @drawtober time again! Which means bringing out the ink pens and drawing quick spooky A6 doodles (way too late at night) for the month of October.I'm ridiculously busy these days, but I love this challenge too much and the prompts this year looked so fun! Last year I just went with a few digital character designs, but I so wanted to get back to the ink pens- even just for a small drawing..The first prompt is Candelit Messenger, so immediately I pictured a little mouse travelling late at night to deliver some very important letters. But he may not be alone in the dark, and even a small candle light flicker may be far too bright to ignore for the other creatures watching. Maybe they're curious where he's going? What message could be so important? And will he realise what he's left behind In his hurry? .(Also, sorry for the tone shift if you're here for the cute artstyle! I joined this challenge with ink pens a few years back before I ever drew digitally, and each year it's just nice going back to my roots a bit, and for Halloween vibes too 😅)..❤ by @_eleablue_

Quick thing to say an original of mine is up for auction as part of @nationaldoodleday again this year! (I really should of posted this sooner but atleast it's here now!)
