I love me some great behind the scenes reels. The stylists, the makeup artists, the beautiful creative director sitting at the computer verifying all the shots. The reality is that sometimes you wake up sick and you are running late to your own shoot. You carry a bunch of bags and only end up using half the crap you brought…
WHATS REAL- working with the best people @ohhmonicaa and @sasarahthornton two amazingly smart and talented women. Creating with people that are just or if not more passionate. Loved this shoot. Would do it all over again if I could.

I have always been told in the Army that your worth/value comes from what you did today. meaning it doesn’t really matter what you accomplished a year ago, last week, or yesterday. It only matters that you showed up today and gave it all you have.

I’ve tried to approach life that way. Nobody gives a shit what you did yesterday- can you do it today? I’m very proud of the @fehuathletics team. Grateful for @joeymallette for asking me to be on the team and believing in me.

Today I woke up thinking about today. What will I do today to move the needle? That’s how I see life now and that might seem selfish for people that lack vision. That’s ok. ✅ everything I do moves the needle - even by the tiniest measure toward my goals.

Drake is a strange person to quote but he said something in a song I’ve always loved in a time where social media is god. I’ll use my own interpretation- “You peeps spend too much time on captions, not enough time on action”.
and maybe that is true. so that word is stuck in my head ACTION. Action today because no one gives a shit what you did yesterday.
