Today is your birthday which also marks exactly four months from when you took your last breath. You would’ve turned 26 today. only 26 years old. these dates up above are dates that will be cemented in my head for the rest of my life.
July 10th of this year i woke up to news i never thought i would hear. you were gone. i was in shock for hours and couldn’t move.
Just days before this happened, you came to stay the night with me since i was home alone. our last interaction: “I love you, sweet dreams”, followed with me in your arms. a tight comforting hug i didn’t know would be the last.
i never thought your life coming to an end early was even possible but now it’s reality. as each day goes by and i get in bed to fall asleep, i never stop thinking about you. you are everywhere. i walk in to school and see your picture on the wall, i see moofi and remember how much yall loved each other, i see you when i walk in northside and remember how much you loved hot buffalo wings with EXTRA red pepper😂, and every time i come on insta i go back and watch the reels we would send each other.
Happiest of birthdays to you bubba. I love you more than words can describe and i miss you stronger than ever. I can’t wait to meet again someday.❤️🕊️😊
